In fact, the film is the biggest non-Netflix South Indian debut of 2026 on an OTT platform. When included with the films on Netflix, it is the third-biggest after Blast (4.2 million) and Kara (3.8 million). Meanwhile, it is also the biggest debut of Zee5 in 2026!

As per the data by Ormax, Jana Nayagan, in its debut week, garnered a viewership of 3.6 million on Zee5. It secured the 6th spot in the trending list of the top 10 most-viewed digital assets watched in India this week, which was ruled by the India VS Sri Lanka test series on Sony Liv.
