Farhan Akhtar is aiming to breach the prestigious 1,500 crore total net collection mark as a producer with the cult series turned film. In fact, it would be the fifth hit film of the actor’s career as a producer after Fukrey, Fukrey Returns, Gully Boy, and Fukrey 3.

Across 28 released projects, Excel Entertainment has put together a cumulative investment of 1,201 crore, yielding a net domestic collection of only 1,271.73 crore and bringing a very meek net profit of 70.73 crore. Overall, the production house churned out only 5.89% return on theatrical investments.
