As a result, it raked in a fantastic 59.7 crore net (all languages) at the Indian box office on day 1. Out of 59.7 crore, the original Tamil version contributed the most, at 43.35 crore, followed by Telugu at 12.5 crore. In Hindi, it opened at 3.5 crore, while the Kannada version scored 35 lakh. In gross collections, the film opened at 70.45 crore.

As predicted, Jailer 2 registered Kollywood’s 4th biggest opening of all time at the Indian box office. It surpassed Beast (49.3 crore) by a good enough margin to claim the 4th spot. The film had a chance of claiming the 3rd spot but just missed it.
