Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya‘s Dune 2 opened up to good reviews in India, and the film has been performing great at the box office. In two days, the collection stands at 7.85 crore in India. The film is running in two languages, English and Hindi in the country.
Dune 2 Witnesses 42.5% Jump
On day one, the film collected around 3.50 crore, which also included 0.80 crore registered on Thursday’s paid previews. The film took a jump of about 42.5% on day 2, Saturday, and collected 3.85 crore in India, which is a very impressive jump.

Timothee Chalamet & Zendaya’s film is also facing competition from a barrage of Hindi films that include Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter (still running in theaters), Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, starring Shahid Kapoor & Kriti Sanon, Article 370 starring Yami Gautam and Laapata Ladies directed by Kiran Rao.
Hindi Collections Performing Below Average
Out Of the 3.85 crore that the film collected on Saturday, around 3.35 crore was contributed by the English version of the film, and the rest was brought by the Hindi version. Hollywood films in English have been working well in India. However, the Hindi versions usually keep contributing, and the collections cannot be termed considered negligible.
