Prashanth Neel’s horror film, 418, was released in theaters on October 23. The horror film, which has no big names in the cast, had a good opening at the box office. The film managed to maintain momentum over the weekend. However, it saw a major drop on its first Monday.
Fails Monday Test
The horror drama, presented by KGF maker Prashanth Neel, saw a dip in collections on its first Monday. The film earned just 86 lakh on Day 4. This was a 67.55% drop from its opening-day collection of 2.65 crore. The film’s net total after four days stands at 8.51 crore, which translates to 10.04 crore gross.
The film’s Monday collection witnessed a sharp drop. If a film witnesses a drop of over 40% on its first Monday, it has failed the Monday test. The Telugu horror film has almost crashed at the box office on its first Monday. The film will now need strong word-of-mouth to recover at the box office.
