The film’s net collection across languages in India alone surpassed 100 crore on day 1. This has led to a major boost in the personal box office of actress Rukmini Vasanth.
Rukmini Vasanth Crosses 800 Crore Mark With Toxic
The actress plays a pivotal role in the Geethu Mohandas directorial. She is one of the five leading actresses in the film, along with Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi. The actress had a great hit in 2025 with Kantara: Chapter 1. She is looking to replicate the 2025 box-office success with Toxic this year, and maybe make it even grander. Before the release of Toxic, the actress’s net domestic box-office total post-COVID in India stood at 761.63 crore.
Rukmini Vasanth has achieved a major box-office milestone on Toxic’s opening day. The magnum opus was released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. The film earned 55 crore in Hindi, while the Kannada language earned 23.3 crore. The overall net collection in India stands at 101.1 crore, which equals 119.3 crore. This brings Rukmini Vasanth’s domestic box office title post-COVID in India to 862.73 crore. If Toxic maintains its pace, Rukmini is eyeing the grand 1000 crore club.
