On Wednesday, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film earned 1.35 crore net in India. It was the Thiruvonam holiday in the state, and a massive boost in collections was expected. While Bethlehem Kudumba Unit benefited from the holiday, Khalifa stayed below average. The net total for the film stands at 15.37 crore after 7 days. The gross collection stands at 18.13 crore. Overseas, the film collected 0.50 Cr on Day 7, taking its total overseas gross to 18.25 crore so far. The worldwide collection comes to 36.38 crore.

On Wednesday, the box office saw a new competition with the release of the much-anticipated film Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown Ups. Khalia stayed behind Toxic even in their home state in Kerala. The Yash-starrer earned 2.1 crore gross in the state, while Khalifa earned 1.5 crore gross.
