Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, Bob Marley: One Love is a biographical musical drama. During the 6-day extended weekend frame, the film is expected to rake in $30-$35 million at the North American box office, as per the report in Variety. This range of collection looks decent for a regular 3-day Friday to Sunday weekend, but for 6 days, it’s clearly not up to the mark.
Paramount’s musical biopic is riding on a production cost of $70 million, which doesn’t include any marketing cost. Looking at this budget, the opening weekend projection isn’t favorable.
