Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, has delivered an “impressive total” in its extended four-day weekend, reports trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Fighter released on January 25, a day before Republic Day, and its current total at the end Sunday was Rs 123.60 crore. Sunday was the best performing day with Fighter making over Rs 30 crore in ticket sales on Day 4. Most of the film’s business is thanks to urban centres rather than mass circuits and Fighter faces its real test today – “the make or break Monday.”
Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as air force officers in an elite team called the Air Dragons. Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi co-star.
