Brad Pitt starrer Heart of the Beast has crossed its first major milestone at the worldwide box office. It is still far from breaking even, but with such positive word of mouth, it is expected to achieve that milestone as well in its theatrical run at the worldwide box office. The film opened with $20 million in its opening weekend at the North American box office. Since it was released on the same weekend as Avengers: Endgame Encore, the film’s debut was slightly hampered. But it is now performing better than the Marvel biggie. However, it will not be as big as Brad Pitt’s F1 at the box office.
Heart of the Beast crosses $100 million milestone worldwide!
The Brad Pitt starrer has crossed its first major global milestone in its second week only. For the unversed, Heart of the Beast collected $946k on its second Wednesday at the domestic box office, down 43% from last Wednesday. In 13 days, the film’s domestic total has reached $41.7 million, and the worldwide box office has reached $102 million [via Box Office Mojo]. It is expected to cross $150 million worldwide in its third weekend.
