The Insidious sequel held strongly at the North American box office this weekend. It collected a solid $3.4 million on its 4th three-day weekend domestically with a decline of just 49.1% from the last holiday-boosted weekend. It is slightly more than Insidious 5‘s $3.2 million 4th weekend collection. After 24 days, the domestic total of the low-budget horror flick is $60.5 million. It is tracking to earn around $70 million during its domestic run.

Sony‘s Insidious: Out of the Further crosses the $150 million mark at the worldwide box office during its 4th weekend. The horror sequel collected $6.8 million in its 4th weekend internationally, a drop of just 33.1% from last weekend. Internationally, the film’s total is $94.7 million across 66 markets, bringing the global total to over $150 million. The current worldwide total of the movie is $155.2 million [via Box Office Mojo].
