Jailer 2 Movie Review Rating:
Star Cast: Rajinikanth, SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and an entire galaxy of stars in cameos!
Director: Nelson Dilipkumar
What’s Good: Rajinikanth pulling off a massy film at 75 and ruling every single frame!
What’s Bad: The screenplay, which gets weaker as it reaches the finale!
Loo Break: In the interval, because the second half is legit a cameo special!
Watch or Not?: Yes, for Rajinikanth’s swagger!
Language: Tamil, dubbed in Telugu and Hindi
Available On: Theatrical release
Runtime: 2 hours and 55 minutes
User Rating:
When Rajinikanth arrives on screen, you witness the hysteria in the theaters! That’s it! Last year, when I watched him in Coolie in the Hindi version, I realized he’s one true-blue OG pan-India superstar! And now the craze for the superstar in the North Belt hasn’t changed a bit as I watch Jailer 2 in Hindi in a theater in North India, with the audience glued to the screen like anything! He walks onto the screen, and suddenly every frame feels like an event!
