It is reportedly one of the top three biggest hits by Universal at the North American box office. But can it become Universal’s biggest domestic hit by beating Jurassic World? The Odyssey at the North American box office
The Nolan-helmed movie collected $3.3 million on its 5th Thursday at the North American box office. It still has a stronger hold than other new releases, dropping just 25.2% from last Thursday at the domestic box office. It completes 35 days in cinemas with over $519.56 million in North American box office collections.
How much more is needed by The Odyssey to become Universal’s biggest hit domestically?
The Odyssey is reportedly Universal’s third highest-grossing film of all time at the North American box office. It is behind Jurassic World and The Super Mario Bros. Movie in Universal’s top-grossers chart. At #1 is Jurassic World, starring Chris Pratt, which collected $653.4 million at the North American box office over its lifetime.
