Yash has proven once again that his hold over the North Indian box office belt is absolute gold. Following the monumental legacy of KGF: Chapter 2, the actor’s latest action saga Toxic invaded the Hindi theatrical circuit with unimaginable force on its opening day. The film zoomed past the 50 crore mark on the opening day.
2nd Highest Hindi Dubbed Opening
Yash has effectively demolished every single South Indian dubbed release in Hindi box office history, with the sole exception of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2! The film has cleanly surpassed Yash’s own past record holder KGF: Chapter 2 (53.95 crore) and Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 (41 crore).
Toxic Hindi Box Office Day 1 Estimates
As per the early trends, Toxic on Wednesday, August 26, delivered an opening in the range of 54 – 56 crore at the box office. Supported by stellar pre-sales and massive spot-booking walk-ins, the film operated at an astonishing occupancy of 89% in the theaters for around 2000 shows in Hindi on the opening day in India!
