Cars’ re-release at the box office performance
According to Box Office Mojo‘s data, Cars collected $6.3 million over 2,900 theaters at the North American box office in its reissue opening weekend. On Labor Day-induced Monday, it added another $1.7 million, bringing the re-release domestic total to $8.05 million. Internationally, it collected $1.9 million, bringing the global total to $9.95 million cume.
