It had a massive 189% boost from last Monday, highlighting a solid hold at the box office. It remained strong at #1 in the domestic box office rankings. The domestic total for the movie has hit $923.6 million.

It is the sequel to Return of the Jedi and the first installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, set 30 years after Return of the Jedi. According to Box Office Mojo‘s data, The Force Awakens collected a massive $936.6 million at the domestic box office in its lifetime. It is the first film ever to cross $900 million in North America.
