It posted the 3rd biggest opening weekend of the year at the domestic box office. Meanwhile, internationally, the Anne Hathaway starrer collected $156.6 million, bringing the global debut collection to $233.3 million. It is the biggest global opening weekend to date for Hollywood live-action. In less than a week, the film has crossed the $250 million mark worldwide.
